Like many here on Typeshare, I signed up for Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole's Ship 30 for 30 course.
But unlike many here, I did it by accident.
45 days ago I narrowed down a list of over 60 online skills to just 5 that I was interested in learning.
Writing Online wasn't one of them, but Copywriting was.
Going YouTube crazy I came across one of Cole's podcasts with Ali Abdaal on Ghostwriting and Copywriting.
Being blinded by uninformed optimism, I skimmed through the Ship 30 landing page and purchased the course.
I quickly found out this was no ordinary "Copywriting" course.
It was better!
This was the perfect course to teach me the absolute foundations of writing.
Even more foundational than AIDA, PAS, and all the other technical copywriting information.
Finding my niche
Creating great headlines
Generating endless ideas
Key writing formats
...and the list goes on.
Would I recommend Ship 30 for 30 to someone like me?
Yes.
Even if you don't want to write online forever.
Im not sure if I even do.
But writing online for 30 days and going through the course helps you with more than just writing:
Building consistency
Racking up confidence
Learning skills applicable to every single industry
Etc.
If you're in the middle of Ship 30 for 30, or maybe just starting, stick with it.
Use the tools & frameworks Dickie and Nicolas give you and just trust it.
Even if you're not sure why you're in the course (like I was), I promise you will walk away with more than you planned.
