Day 17: 4 Reasons Why I Think Everyone Should Read Rich Dad Poor Dad

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is one of the best books ever written on personal finances.

You know exactly what I'm talking about if you've read it.

But if you haven't, here's why:

Reason #1: It will change your relationship with money

When you view money differently, you'll see life differently, too.

You'll stop living to work and start working to live. You'll realize acquiring money is only a small aspect of your life and shouldn't be the end all be all.

When you change your relationship with money, opportunities start to reveal themselves to you.

Reason #2: You'll learn that you have a choice in life

When money isn't an issue, you have more life choices. People often struggle to make ends meet and have limited options. When your money is managed correctly, you start having more options in your life. Travel, move, invest, you'll have options to explore.

Reason #3: You'll learn to mange your emotion

Earning money is hard; spending it is easy.

You have to manage your emotion, so it doesn't control your finances.

Easier said than done, but setting strict principles to follow help.

Reason #4: Learning doesn’t end when school ends

People think that formal education teaches you everything in life.

It doesn't. Formal education gets you a job; self-education gets you a fortune. Your education doesn't end when you complete your formal education it just starts.

Reading books like this will help you be on your way to building wealth.

I can't recommend this book enough.
