We drown in content-quotes, articles, videos, all shared endlessly online. But how much of it actually changes anything? Too often we consume and share without asking: What do I do with this?
Where religion gets it right-and where most of us sharing on Threads/X/etc don't (myself included)-is in sermons. Priests or Pastors don't just present scripture; they distill it into stories and lessons you can act on. Every Sunday afternoon, somone's trying on a new perspective in their life.
Whether creating content or just sharing it, think about this: What's the action here? How does this change how someone behaves or thinks? A quote, a link, or a video is only as good as the response it inspires.
Before sharing it, ask yourself:
This quote resonates because... (does it inspire specific action?)
This video is a banger because... (what will I do differently?)
Something I learned and think I'll apply from this is..
Then take it further: Write down what you'll do. Share your take. Tell us how this changes things for you. Content that sparks action isn't just more memorable-it's meaningful.
The best content doesn't just make us think-it moves us to act. So next time you share something, don't just pass it along. Add your story. Make it yours. Show us how it makes things better.
