Education & Life Reflections

If you were to look back at your younger self,

no doubt you would have noticed how your naivete, and spontaneity led you into problems that backfired.

The good news is :

You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble by abiding by these 3 laws of power from Robert Greene's book " The 48 Laws of Power"

Law 1: Never Outshine the Master
Those above you want to feel secure and superior in their positions. This may involve making a few harmless mistakes so that you can ask your master for help.

Law 4. Always Say Less Than Necessary

The more you say, the more likely it is that you will end up saying something foolish.

Law 9. Win Through Your Actions, Never Through Argument

Any triumph you gain through argument will be short lived.

Resentment will fester in your opponents instead of a genuine change of opinion. Instead, let your actions speak for you.

Recap:

  • Never Outshine the Master

  • Always say less than necessary

  • Win through actions, never through argument
