Meditations does not come easy to you it is true. It requires tons of discipline and a strong goal which is supported by inner motives. Question yourself, "why exactly do i have to do a meditations"? "What meditation is for me, why did i even start doing this?" If you answered on those questions honestly, congrats, you are on your way to become calmer person and remove 70% of your stress. Next step, patience... Only few of us have it, less desire to develop it, even more few interested to get this quality. So why dont you try to succeed?
For this matter I have some few advices which will help you to stay on track, build a patience and confidence and notice changes in yourself sooner than you expect.
1: Stay disciplined and keep a routine daily.
When I say keep a routine daily it means not only wake up and brush your teeth. Of course self-care is VERY important, in my case it is more about doing smth you passionate about every day. Even if its not working out, do it. Even if you feel that the whole world is against you.
2: Its better to show up, no matter what mood you are in, then dont.
We all should remember, show up every day to your "to do thing" is better then give up, skip it, and not be able to form a new habit. For example: you made a resolution to go for a morning walk every morning. Just wake up and go, even 5 min counts, even if you planned to do an hour. feel good about yourself for being able to show up.
3: Healthy food and no junks.
Its not a secret that food has a biggest impact on your life, first of all it changes your body chemistry and greatly affect your mood.
You can notice that those small things are really SMALL, do not be afraid JUST DO IT. It will change your life tremendously, despite all of the "I CANT, because....". Yes, you surely can and no matter what!
