Knowing what you want is the first step to getting it.
So far so cliche, right? But there is truth in there. You need to know where you want to go to stake out a direction.
Ask most adults what they want and they come up blank.
At best they give you a long list of things they don’t want.
It sounds like it’s the other side of the same coin. Your «don’t want this» list is a great starting point.
Take every point and turn it around.
As I dive deeper and deeper into the topic of the Law of Attraction, I realize how easy it is to trick ourselves. We think what we want is stated in a positive manner, and yet it is not.
And if the law holds true, and what you think about becomes your reality, getting this «right» might be crucial to designing your life.
So how do you know if you are on the right track? The best thought puts a smile on your face.
«I don’t want to be fat anymore» - not so much
«I want to lose weight» - ugh
«20 lbs in 5 days» - you know it’s not gonna happen
«See those skinny jeans over there? I will look hot in those!» - getting closer

Don’t stress over this, and treat it as a game. You have nothing to lose and everything to win.
