A thread 🧵 on my current task managers application I used for my tasks and projects. We are all getting overwhelmed by the copious amount of information we consume and the ideas these notes are generating for us.

All note-taking apps also are a sort of task managers. The things we want to do keeps building up in the backend sometimes never to surface again. But we don't want all that good ideas to be lost.

Here is my complex system of many apps which I use to Plan, Strategise and Execute my tasks.

Ample Note - @amplenote forms the hub of all my tasks. What I like about ample note is that it has a rigid structure. You get a feeling of control.

Things3 - Not all tasks need to get into a note-taking app. Some tasks such a grocery lists etc need a simpler way to capture. Things 3 is one the fastest apps out there to capture tasks. (It is an app which is not bloated, thanks to no attachments policy, i think.)

Imdone for project management - Project tasks need Kanban or Scrum view. imdone converts your MD notes into Kanban Boards. I export a project note from ample note for a kanban view. Kanban with extreme context.

@AirlistApp - If you are in the Apple ecosystem, there is no outlining app as native as this one. I need to brainstorm quicky on the go! Tasks from Airlift go to Ample Notes.

All my apps were overwhelming with too many tasks. I need an app layer between them to tell me "less is more". So I check all my todo apps and fill in the top three tasks for the say. Read my detailed thread on @BentoMethodhere https://twitter.com/pkmwiki/status/1525059222270001152

Flying Logic to solve problems - When I need to find the shortest route to solve a problem, I use this @FlyingLogicto to check what are the constraints in the system. It helps you see the best possible route to achieve your goals.

Fleeting Notes @fleetingnotes_ is the fastest app to capture ideas in the go. All other apps I have used got bloated because of features.

Finally I use @structured_app to time block my routine tasks and daily

priority tasks. Phew.
