Learning new things quickly is essential to survive as a front-end dev in the Web3 industry. I have 3 learning techniques that help me succeed.

Both frontend and Web3 domains experience rapid waves of emerging and fading technologies. Combining these two domains requires a broad range of specialties.

Consider Gatsby and Next.js on the frontend, and NFT and DAO in Web3 world.

How did I survive? Here are the tips:

1️⃣ Understand the task scope and objective

Most tasks have deadlines. Focus on the knowledge needed to complete them.

While a deep understanding is ideal, it can easily lead to burnout.

If you’re truly passionate about a topic, reserve dedicated time to explore it further.

2️⃣ Read documentation and source code

Google and ChatGPT are helpful but not always reliable, especially with emerging subjects.

Be patient with reading documentation and source code by searching keywords.

80% of the time, you can find the answers you need.

3️⃣ Ask clear, easy-to-read questions

When seeking help, provide clear context and background knowledge.

📗 The TL;DR:

• AI tools like ChatGPT have limitations with new topics.

• Focus on task-specific knowledge to avoid burnout.

• Read documentation and source code; search keywords for answers.

• Ask clear, context-rich questions when seeking help.

Harness these smart and efficient learning skills, and you’ll be versatile enough to navigate all kinds of ever-changing situations.

Keep pushing forward ✨
