My phone won't beg me to check it constantly. Even if I check my phone for the time of day, there is only the clock visible and normally no notifications.

I've created specific time slots for checking messages and emails:
- in the morning,
- before lunch,
- before finishing work,
- before chill-out evening,
- some in between, depending on the day.
I open one app at at time and get process everything in bulk during these slots, minimizing time spent on instant messaging and emails.
It's amazing how much you can accomplish in focused bursts and if you are in the right state of mind.

No Pressure, No FOMO

There's no need to constantly check my phone because I know that every message will be replied to later.
My phone switches to "Do Not Disturb" automatically in the late evening.
Only truly important calls can break through, sparing me from unnecessary disturbances. How? They call multiple times if it's important. But don't tell anyone. (^_^)
