About scheduling on Bluesky
Can you schedule posts on Bluesky?
Yes, with Typeshare. Connect Bluesky, write the post, and click Add to Queue for the next open slot or Schedule for later to pick a day and time. The same post can go to X, Threads, LinkedIn and Substack Notes at once.
What can I schedule on Bluesky?
Posts up to 300 characters with images or video, threads of posts, carousels from the Deck editor, and Atomic Essays, which go out as a single image.
How do I connect Bluesky?
Bluesky uses an app password instead of a sign-in page. Create one in Bluesky (Settings > App Passwords), then in Typeshare go to Settings > Channels, click Bluesky, and enter your username and the app password.
Can I write a shorter version for Bluesky?
Yes. Posts can be longer on other platforms, so click Bluesky’s tile and turn off Sync edits to write its own version within 300 characters.
Why should I schedule Bluesky posts?
Showing up often is what grows a following, and it’s the part most people drop. Writing a week of posts in one sitting and letting them go out on their own keeps you posting when work gets busy, on X and Threads as well.
Is there an AI agent for Bluesky?
Not yet: a Bluesky Agent is listed in the Marketplace but isn’t available. You can write and schedule Bluesky posts yourself today.
