Your best posts never “die” again.

Most people write a great post, watch it do well for a day, and never touch it again.

That’s the mistake.

Every post you publish becomes part of a growing library you can repeat, republish, and remix for years.

Your best ideas deserve more than one day in the feed.

About scheduling on LinkedIn

Can you schedule posts on LinkedIn?

Yes. LinkedIn lets you schedule a post from its own composer, one at a time. Typeshare adds a weekly queue, carousels, saved calls to action and the same post on other platforms, all from one place.

What types of LinkedIn posts can I schedule?

Text posts, posts with images, carousels and PDF documents (a carousel goes out as one swipeable PDF with your post’s text), and Atomic Essays, which go out as a single image.

How do I schedule a LinkedIn post in Typeshare?

Write the post, then click Add to Queue to take the next open slot, or choose Schedule for later to pick a day and time. Times go in 15-minute steps, in your own time zone.

Can I schedule LinkedIn carousels?

Yes. Make a carousel in the Deck editor in your Brand Kit and schedule it like any other post. You can also download it as a PDF or as images.

Does it post to company pages?

It posts to the LinkedIn profile you connect.

Can I add a first comment?

Not yet: LinkedIn has to approve Typeshare for comment access first. Your call to action goes out as the last line of the post instead.

Can I edit a post after scheduling it?

Yes. Open it from your drafts and edit it; the new version is what goes out. It stays editable until its scheduled time.

Why should I schedule LinkedIn posts?

Posting every week is what grows a LinkedIn following, and it’s the part most people drop. Writing a week of posts in one sitting and letting them go out on their own keeps you posting when work gets busy, at the times your readers are on LinkedIn.

When is the best time to post on LinkedIn?

Weekday mornings, when people open LinkedIn before work, are a safe start. Your own readers matter more than any average, so post at the same times for a few weeks and compare.

How often should I post on LinkedIn?

Three to five posts a week is plenty for most writers, and the same days each week builds a habit for your readers. In Typeshare you pick how often you post and your queue holds the slots.

What should I schedule?

Mix a few kinds of post you can repeat: a lesson from your work, a short story, a how-to and an opinion. Carousels work well for how-tos.

Why do some scheduled posts do better than others?

Mostly the first lines. LinkedIn shows the start of a post before “…see more”, and if it doesn’t earn the click the rest isn’t read.

What does it cost?

Basic is $19 a month for writing and scheduling. All-Access is $49 a month and adds the agents, including the LinkedIn Agent. Both start with a 14-day free trial.
