How do I add a call to action to my LinkedIn posts?
In Typeshare, a LinkedIn call to action (CTA) is added as the last line of your post when it goes out: click Add CTA under the LinkedIn version and pick one of your saved CTAs. A LinkedIn first comment isn't available yet, because LinkedIn has to approve Typeshare for comment access first. On X, Threads and Substack Notes, a CTA goes out as a reply under your post instead.

How do I add a CTA to a LinkedIn post?
- Open the post on the Write page and switch to the LinkedIn version.
- Click Add CTA under it. A window lists your saved LinkedIn CTAs.
- Click one to use it, or click New CTA, write it, and click Save and use.
The CTA shows highlighted at the end of the post, since that's where it goes. To change or remove it, click Change or the × next to it.
Why does the CTA go at the end of the post on LinkedIn?
On LinkedIn the CTA is added as the last line of the post when it publishes. If the post plus the CTA would be over LinkedIn's 3,000 characters, the CTA is left off that post.
Can I add a LinkedIn first comment?
Not yet. LinkedIn has to approve Typeshare for comment access first, so Add first comment is hidden for now. Once it's available, you'll be able to fill a first comment from a saved CTA with Use a CTA.
How do saved CTAs work?
A CTA is your own line and link, posted word for word, for example "Learn to write online in 30 days" with your link. Save it once and reuse it on any post. Saved CTAs belong to the platform, not to an agent, so you don't need an agent to use them. If you edit a CTA after picking it, the post uses the edited version when it goes out; if you delete or pause it, the post goes out without it.
Can my LinkedIn Agent add CTAs for me?
Yes, on the All-Access plan. Open the LinkedIn Agent's side panel, go to the CTAs tab and click Add CTA. Set CTA frequency to Off, 25% of posts, 50% of posts (the default), 75% of posts or Every post. When a post publishes, the agent uses the CTA that fits that post best. When you review an agent's post, a card under it shows the CTA it will get, with "Added as the last line of the post". The agent never invents a CTA: it only uses the ones you saved.
How do I choose who sees my LinkedIn post?
Open Choose platforms (the ··· button in the platform row; see Can I post to X and LinkedIn at the same time?). Next to LinkedIn, pick Anyone (anyone on or off LinkedIn) or Connections only. To make it your default, click Save as default platforms, or set LinkedIn audience in Settings > Writing.
Which plan do I need?
Basic is $19/month (write, schedule and publish everywhere, without agents). All-Access is $49/month and adds the agents. Both have a 2-week free trial. See Plans and pricing.

Where can I publish with Typeshare?
Typeshare publishes to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack (Notes and newsletters), plus your own Typeshare profile. You write once, choose the platforms, and post now or schedule. Instagram is coming next.
Can I post to X and LinkedIn at the same time?
Yes. In Typeshare you write a post once, switch on X, LinkedIn and any other platform you use (Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes), and publish or schedule it to all of them in one go. Each platform keeps its own character limit and formatting, and you can write a different version for any of them.
How do I schedule Substack Notes?
Typeshare schedules and publishes Substack Notes, one at a time or as a regular queue, alongside your posts for X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky. It also publishes and schedules full Substack newsletters. Substack connects through the free Typeshare Connector extension for Chrome.
How do I write and schedule X threads?
Typeshare has a thread editor for X, Threads and Bluesky: write the whole thread in one place, see each post's character count, add images to any post, and publish now or schedule. The same thread can go to LinkedIn and Substack Notes as a single post.
Does Typeshare write in my own voice?
Yes, because Typeshare's AI only uses your own writing. Your Digital Brain collects everything you've written (your X, LinkedIn, Threads and Substack posts, your blog, your notes), and Typeshare's agents turn that into new posts. They never invent stories, numbers or opinions, and every post shows the passages it came from.
What is an Atomic Essay, and how do I write one?
An Atomic Essay is a short essay of up to 400 words, about one idea, published as a single shareable image. The format comes from Ship 30 for 30, the writing course by Dickie Bush and Nicolas Cole, the founders of Typeshare. Typeshare has an Atomic Essay editor that lays your essay out as an image and publishes it to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes and your Typeshare profile.
