Typeshare vs Hootsuite: Which Is Right for You?
Hootsuite is a dashboard for running a brand’s social accounts: one calendar for up to 10 accounts on Standard (unlimited above that), one inbox for replies, analytics, and approvals on Advanced. It starts at $99 per user a month, billed yearly. Typeshare is for the person, not the brand: one writer, $49 a month for everything, with agents that turn your own past writing into posts for X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack and publish them with your approval.
Which one should you pick?
Pick Typeshare if
- You post as yourself, not as a brand, and don’t need seats, an inbox or approvals.
- You publish a Substack newsletter or Notes.
- You want agents that turn your own writing into posts for each platform and publish them, with your approval.
- You want to pay $19–$49 a month, not $99 or more per user.
Pick Hootsuite if
- You run social for a company and need one inbox for replies across many accounts.
- You post to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest or WhatsApp.
- You need several users and approvals before posts go live (Advanced plan).

Why Typeshare
You do the writing. The robots do the rest.
AI that writes your posts writes what anyone could have said: commodity content that sounds like everyone else. Writing it yourself is how you sharpen your thinking and say what only you can, and that is what grows an audience. So on Typeshare you write, and the agents do everything after: rework it for each platform, make the visuals, schedule and publish.
