What is included in Basic and All-Access?
Basic includes:
- Write, schedule and publish everywhere
- Build your Digital Brain
- Templates and visual posts
- 10 GB of Media storage
All-Access includes everything in Basic, plus:
- AI agents that write, repurpose and publish for you
- Agent routines, chats and channels
- 100 GB of Media storage
- A larger weekly AI allowance, plus the option to buy extra usage (see the AI Usage doc)
On Basic, agent pages show "Agents are part of All-Access" with an Upgrade to All-Access button.
How does the free trial work?
New accounts can try all of Typeshare free. The All-Access free trial is 2 weeks.
The upgrade page shows how your trial works:
- Today: your Digital Brain, your agents, and every Typeshare feature unlock immediately.
- A week before the end: we remind you that your free trial is ending soon.
- On the end date: you're charged for the plan you picked (monthly or yearly). Cancel anytime before then and you won't be charged.
What emails does the trial send?
One reminder, a week before your trial ends, from team@notifications.typeshare.co. It says what you've built so far, which plan starts, exactly what you'll be charged (any discount included), the date, and how to cancel. There's an Open Billing button (Settings > Billing), where you can cancel, switch to Basic or switch to yearly.
If you cancel during the trial, you get no reminder about being charged. Instead you get:
- An email at the same time ("You still have Typeshare until [date]") saying you won't be charged, with a Resume my trial button.
- One the day before your access ends ("Your Typeshare access ends tomorrow"), with Resume my trial.
- One a day after it ends ("Your Digital Brain is still here"): your posts and Digital Brain are saved, and Pick a plan brings it all back.
To ask anything, reply to any of these emails.
You pick monthly or yearly billing when you start the trial ("Choose a plan for after your trial"). Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Some partner programs come with a longer trial. For example, Ship 30 for 30 and AIWS members get a free 5-week trial through their Ship 30 or AIWS link. Special offer links (typeshare.co/2/trial/...) were a limited-time offer and have ended: they still open the sign-up page (or the upgrade page if you're logged in), but now give the usual free 14-day trial, like any other sign-up.
I clicked a special offer link but only got 14 days. Why not 30?
The 30-day offer on special offer links (typeshare.co/2/trial/...) was limited and has ended. The link still works and gives the standard free 14-day trial. If you started a 30-day trial while the offer was running, you keep it: its end date doesn't change. If you've already had a trial of the new Typeshare, the link can't give you another one (a past classic Typeshare trial doesn't count).
Can I get a second free trial?
No. Each account gets one free trial of the new Typeshare. Trials in classic Typeshare don't count toward this.
If you've already had a trial, the upgrade page skips the trial and asks you to "Choose your plan": pick All-Access or Basic, monthly or yearly, and you're charged today.
How do I start a plan or free trial?
You'll land on the upgrade page automatically if you don't have a plan yet. You can also open it at /2/upgrade.
With a free trial:
- Read what's included and click Continue.
- Review how your free trial works and click Continue.
- Choose 1 month or 12 months billing.
- Click Claim my free 2 weeks.
- Finish checkout on the secure Stripe page.
Without a trial (you've had one before):
- Click Continue.
- On "Choose your plan", pick Monthly or Yearly · 2 months free, then pick All-Access or Basic.
- Click Upgrade to All-Access or Continue with Basic.
- Finish checkout on the secure Stripe page.
After checkout you'll see a welcome screen and can open Typeshare.
If checkout can't start you'll see "Could not start checkout." Try again; if it keeps happening, contact support from Help & feedback.
How do I upgrade from Basic to All-Access?
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings, then open Billing.
- Under Plans, click Upgrade to All-Access on the All-Access card.
- Review the change and click Confirm upgrade.
What happens:
- If you're on a Basic trial: your agents unlock and your trial carries on. Nothing is charged today. When the trial ends, your All-Access plan starts.
- If you're on paid Basic: your agents unlock right away. You're charged the difference for the rest of this billing period, then your plan renews as All-Access.
You can also upgrade from the Upgrade to All-Access button on any agent page.
If your card on file is declined, you'll see a note saying you're still on Basic, and the button changes to Enter a new card so you can finish the upgrade with a different card.
How do I downgrade from All-Access to Basic?
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Under Plans, click Downgrade to Basic on the Basic card.
- Review the change and click Confirm downgrade.
What happens:
- On a trial: your agents stop and your trial carries on as a Basic trial. Nothing is charged today.
- On a paid plan: you keep All-Access until the end of your current billing period, then your plan renews as Basic. The Basic card shows when it starts.
Changed your mind before the switch? Click Keep All-Access on the All-Access card in Billing.
Downgrading to Basic is also offered when you start cancelling All-Access.
I took the member offer earlier and got 6 months. Does that change?
No. The offer used to keep your price for 6 months; it's now 1 month for members switching today. If you switched while it was 6 months, you keep your 6 months as agreed.
My classic plan is paused. Can I still take the member offer?
Yes. Paused classic members get the same offer. Accepting it ends the pause: your plan moves to All-Access and billing starts again at your next renewal date, at the offer price.
I'm on a classic trial or Expert Lifetime. What happens when I move to the new Typeshare?
- Classic trial: you can swap it for a free 4-week trial of the new Typeshare by clicking Claim my free 4 weeks. (Special offer links, typeshare.co/2/trial/..., gave 30 days while that offer ran; it has ended, so they now give the same 4 weeks.) This replaces your current trial and nothing is charged today. If your classic trial ran longer, your later end date is kept.
- Expert Lifetime: your first 4 weeks of All-Access are free and nothing is charged today. After that, the All-Access plan you choose (monthly or yearly) is charged. You can skip this with No thanks and keep using Basic, which your Expert Lifetime includes.
