How do I make LinkedIn carousels?
In Typeshare, a LinkedIn carousel is a Deck: a multi-page visual post you build card by card on the Write page, then publish or schedule. On LinkedIn the whole Deck goes out as one swipeable PDF document. On the All-Access plan, the Designer agent can also turn your writing into a carousel, and the LinkedIn Agent can post it.

How do I make a carousel myself?
- On the Write page, click Deck.
- Write each card, and click Add a page at the bottom for the next one. A Deck holds up to 20 cards.
- Click the palette icon at the top right to open Theme. Its Layout choice sets each card's look, such as a tweet-style card, Apple Notes, a quote, a list, a big number or a photo.
- Click Publish in the top bar, pick LinkedIn (and any other platforms), then click Publish Now or Schedule.
Decks can also go to X, Threads and Bluesky.
Can I use slides I designed somewhere else?
Yes. Use the Full image layout: it fills the card edge to edge with your own picture, with no header, byline or page counter. Click Upload images on the card and pick several JPEG, PNG or WebP files at once; each one becomes its own card, in order.
You can't import a PDF of slides into a Deck yet. Save each page as an image first, then upload them on a Full image card.
Can I add photos or a link?
You can add photos to any card (up to 12 per card, JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 30 MB). Links inside a Deck can't be clicked, because it goes out as images and a PDF. To share a link, type it in the post text box for LinkedIn (or add a saved call to action) in the publish window, and LinkedIn shows it as a clickable link with the carousel.
Can I download a carousel?
Yes. Open the ··· menu and choose Export, then PNG images, JPEG images or PDF document.
Can AI make a carousel from my writing?
On the All-Access plan, the Designer agent (see Designer) makes carousels in your brand kit (your colours and fonts). In its chat, ask something like "Turn this essay into a carousel, with a cover and one main idea per card", and paste the essay or a link. It only uses your own words, from your Digital Brain or what you share, and doesn't invent hooks, stats or calls to action. A Designer carousel can have up to 20 pages, and Portrait (4:5) is the default.
The Designer doesn't publish. To post its carousel, save it to Media and ask your LinkedIn Agent to post it ("post the carousel I saved to Carousels"), or @-mention the LinkedIn Agent in a channel with the Designer.
Can the LinkedIn Agent post carousels on its own schedule?
Yes. The LinkedIn Agent writes LinkedIn posts from your Digital Brain, fills your LinkedIn queue and publishes on schedule, and it can post documents and carousels. In Pilot mode nothing goes out until you approve it.
Which plan do I need?
Basic is $19/month. All-Access is $49/month and adds the agents, including the Designer and the LinkedIn Agent. Both have a 2-week free trial. See Plans and pricing.

More in What Typeshare does
Where can I publish with Typeshare?
Typeshare publishes to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack (Notes and newsletters), plus your own Typeshare profile. You write once, choose the platforms, and post now or schedule. Instagram is coming next.
Can I post to X and LinkedIn at the same time?
Yes. In Typeshare you write a post once, switch on X, LinkedIn and any other platform you use (Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes), and publish or schedule it to all of them in one go. Each platform keeps its own character limit and formatting, and you can write a different version for any of them.
How do I schedule Substack Notes?
Typeshare schedules and publishes Substack Notes, one at a time or as a regular queue, alongside your posts for X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky. It also publishes and schedules full Substack newsletters. Substack connects through the free Typeshare Connector extension for Chrome.
How do I write and schedule X threads?
Typeshare has a thread editor for X, Threads and Bluesky: write the whole thread in one place, see each post's character count, add images to any post, and publish now or schedule. The same thread can go to LinkedIn and Substack Notes as a single post.
Does Typeshare write in my own voice?
Yes, because Typeshare's AI only uses your own writing. Your Digital Brain collects everything you've written (your X, LinkedIn, Threads and Substack posts, your blog, your notes), and Typeshare's agents turn that into new posts. They never invent stories, numbers or opinions, and every post shows the passages it came from.
What is an Atomic Essay, and how do I write one?
An Atomic Essay is a short essay of up to 400 words, about one idea, published as a single shareable image. The format comes from Ship 30 for 30, the writing course by Dickie Bush and Nicolas Cole, the founders of Typeshare. Typeshare has an Atomic Essay editor that lays your essay out as an image and publishes it to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes and your Typeshare profile.
