How do I connect Threads?
- Go to Settings > Channels.
- Under Add a channel, click Threads, sign in and allow Typeshare access.
- Answer Yes, this is my account when Typeshare asks "Is this your Threads account?". Your past Threads posts are imported into your Digital Brain (your last two years, up to 1,000 posts).
Threads access is renewed automatically, so you normally never need to reconnect it.
How do I connect Bluesky?
Bluesky uses an app password instead of a sign-in page.
- In Bluesky, create an app password (Bluesky Settings > App Passwords). Your normal Bluesky password won't work.
- In Typeshare, go to Settings > Channels, and under Add a channel, click Bluesky.
- Enter your Username (for example handle.bsky.social or your own domain) and the App Password, then click Connect.
How do I schedule a post?
- Start a post on the Write page and switch on Threads and Bluesky (and any other platforms) in the platform tiles.
- Write the post. The ring next to it counts characters against each platform's limit: 500 on Threads, 300 on Bluesky.
- Click Add to Queue to take the next open time on each platform, or click the arrow next to it and choose Schedule for later to pick a day and time.
To write a shorter version for Bluesky, click its tile and turn off Sync edits.
Can I schedule threads?
Yes. Threads work on X, Threads and Bluesky. Press ⌘ Enter (Mac) or Ctrl Enter (Windows) to start the next post in the thread, and each post gets its own character limit. See How do I write and schedule X threads?.
What are publishing queues?
Each platform has its own queue of regular days and times (see Scheduling and the queue). Pick Beginner, Pro or Expert for Threads and for Bluesky in Queue settings. Times vary by up to 30 minutes either side, so posts don't go out at exactly the same minute every day. The Schedule page shows everything that's booked, on every platform, and you can move posts around there.
Is there an AI agent for Threads?
Yes, on the All-Access plan. The Threads Agent writes Threads posts and threads from your Digital Brain, fills your Threads queue, publishes on schedule, plans each week and reviews how last week's posts did. In Pilot mode nothing goes out until you approve it. A Bluesky Agent is listed in the Marketplace but isn't available yet.
How much does it cost?
Basic is $19/month (write, schedule and publish everywhere, without agents). All-Access is $49/month and adds the agents. Both have a 2-week free trial.

Where can I publish with Typeshare?
Typeshare publishes to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack (Notes and newsletters), plus your own Typeshare profile. You write once, choose the platforms, and post now or schedule. Instagram is coming next.
Can I post to X and LinkedIn at the same time?
Yes. In Typeshare you write a post once, switch on X, LinkedIn and any other platform you use (Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes), and publish or schedule it to all of them in one go. Each platform keeps its own character limit and formatting, and you can write a different version for any of them.
How do I schedule Substack Notes?
Typeshare schedules and publishes Substack Notes, one at a time or as a regular queue, alongside your posts for X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky. It also publishes and schedules full Substack newsletters. Substack connects through the free Typeshare Connector extension for Chrome.
How do I write and schedule X threads?
Typeshare has a thread editor for X, Threads and Bluesky: write the whole thread in one place, see each post's character count, add images to any post, and publish now or schedule. The same thread can go to LinkedIn and Substack Notes as a single post.
Does Typeshare write in my own voice?
Yes, because Typeshare's AI only uses your own writing. Your Digital Brain collects everything you've written (your X, LinkedIn, Threads and Substack posts, your blog, your notes), and Typeshare's agents turn that into new posts. They never invent stories, numbers or opinions, and every post shows the passages it came from.
What is an Atomic Essay, and how do I write one?
An Atomic Essay is a short essay of up to 400 words, about one idea, published as a single shareable image. The format comes from Ship 30 for 30, the writing course by Dickie Bush and Nicolas Cole, the founders of Typeshare. Typeshare has an Atomic Essay editor that lays your essay out as an image and publishes it to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Substack Notes and your Typeshare profile.
