If Your Content Doesn’t Repel Anyone, It Won’t Attract Real Fans

We’re wired to notice the negative—what’s wrong, what’s unfair, what pisses us off.

The media knows this. Politicians know this. Top brands know this.

If you want people to stand with you, give them something to stand against.

“Escape competition through authenticity.” — Naval Ravikant

Get clear on how you see the world.

Share that view.

You’ll attract the people who think like you—and push away the ones who don’t.

That’s the point:

  • Polarization creates emotion.

  • Emotion sparks action.

  • Action drives results.

And results are what grow your business.

Ask yourself:

  • What pisses you off?

  • What are you sick of hearing?

  • What are people getting wrong?

  • What advice in your industry is flat-out terrible?

  • What truth do you hold that most people disagree with?

Now, pick one. Write about it.

You could start with:

  • Most people think [wrong idea]. But [here’s why it’s wrong].

  • Stop [doing X]. Start [doing Y]. Here’s why.

  • My biggest mistake: [bad belief]. Here’s what to do instead.

Example: I’ll make you pick a side—focus beats hustle every time.
I don’t care how many hours you grind, meetings you stack, or tasks you cross off. If your attention is scattered, you’re not productive—you’re just busy.
Busyness is vanity. Focus is leverage.

The clearer you make your stance, the stronger your magnetic pull.
