As a front end developer in an interview, you're more likely to get a problem dealing with arrays, objects and JS trivia than you are a "reverse this linked-list" type of question. Easier right?

Depends.

Data structures and algorithms are actually pretty straight forward to learn. There are a few common structures to learn and algorithms and concepts surrounding them which can be applied to nearly any white boarding interview.

But if you're reading this, you're probably a front end developer who specializes in JS.

Javascript can encompass a lot. Like a whole lot. So what do you study?

Well, from speaking with about 100 developers over the last few months and participating in around 100 interviews myself over the last 8 years - I see the same concepts keep coming up.

You can't study everything, but by knowing these concepts, I feel like you will be prepared for the majority of front end focused interviews.
