Most innovators that come into Impact Zero's accelerator share a handful of traits:
They know the waste problem they're solving
They are passionate about finding a real solution to that problem
They are open to mentorship and find influential people they can turn to for advice
Etc.
But the solutions that really ramp up during our accelerator have this 1 habit in common:
They see other businesses as collaborators, not competition
And here's why. They understand that:
Being honest about challenges with other talented entrepreneurs can quickly turn a normal conversation into a problem-solving brainstorming session
Being open to collaboration with other founders can create opportunities to stand up joint services or programs that grow both of your businesses
Being integrated into a like-minded community is much more fun than working in a silo by yourself
Climate solutions often involve systems changes that are too big for one person or startup to manage alone - by finding like-minded entrepreneurs you plug yourself into a larger ecosystem that can grow together!
