4) Develop multiple ‘channels’ to reach investors: 📌 Optimize your profile and leverage LinkedIn. 📌 Update your website with useful content on a regular basis. 📌 Attend events and try to get speaking spots on your area of expertise. 📌 Develop an email list or (better yet) use a CRM to keep track of prospects and investors.

5) Engage with investors: 📌 On average, it takes 7-10 (maybe more) touchpoints of communication before an investor will engage with you. 📌 Your ultimate goal is to present to investors with a serious interest in your strategy. 📌 Generate a dialogue; understand investor concerns, objections, or resistance points, if any, and address them. 📌 Even after you ‘onboard’ investors, you still need to nurture and maintain those relationships.
