Types of Writers
Karthi

Writing is fascinating. Every language uses a combination of letters to create millions of words that express thoughts, ideas, and emotions. Whether it's advertisements or classics, everything is composed of these words. Writers have different styles of writing, which contribute to about 20 different types of writers based on what they write, how they write, and their approach to writing.

Broadly speaking, writers can be categorized into two groups: fiction and nonfiction. Within these categories, there are many different writing styles that you may already be familiar with.

Type of Writers: Novelists, songwriters, lyricists, poets, playwrights, short story writers, screenwriters, bloggers, business writers, copywriters, content writers, ghostwriters, journalists, non-fiction book writers, technical writers, translators, UX writers, biographers, editors, critics, and columnists.

Out of all these different types, product makers need to master two specific writing styles: content writing and copywriting.

Content writing aims to inform the reader, while copywriting aims to sell to the reader.

While content writing focuses on providing valuable information and engaging readers, copywriting aims to persuade and drive action. Both forms of writing require creativity, and an understanding of the target audience.
