✨ I study the empowering art of public speaking, presenting & using humour ✨
Ever been to a meeting with multiple presenters?
Here's one tip.
Each presenter needs to be ready to present when their turn comes.
This means the next presenter moves to the front of the room just as the previous speaker finishes their presentation.
They need to be ready to be called to start speaking.
This keeps the meeting moving. The momentum continues.
The time taken for one speaker to hand over to the next is dead time as the second speaker waits to be called to the front.
The handover is seamless if the second speaker is already at the front, ready to speak.
It makes the presentation appear slick.
And subconsciously, the audience senses the context of the next agenda item.
It's a small thing, but we're all made up of small things.
