College loans are a scourge on America.

In-need borrowers (who were sold a bag of bullshit) should be bailed out.

*BUT*

It shouldn't be on taxpayers to front the bill.

It should be on the colleges and universities who were the ones that ripped off students in the first place. Pay off loans and lower the tuition instead of adding more layers of unnecessary bureaucracy.

Colleges are an unnecessary artifact who benefit from a luxury arms race with each other, masked by insane rhetoric about how we all wouldn't survive without them.


ps. Skip college. There are many better options. Learn a trade. Find a good company or mentor who will train you. Learn by doing. Invest in yourself.
