I have to admit writing this summery was difficult for me, you see Jim Carey for me was a comedian, acting wildly and in a manner that did not make any sense.

Of course, those were just some roles that he played and this was the real Jim here, someone who is wise and with a deep sense of morality.

One line that really sums up this speech was this one:

“You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love” 

Take chances!! It's okay if you do not want to play a certain part on the stage of life!

Don’t be afraid to do big things, nothing is bigger in your life except YOU!

This speech resonates with me and maybe all of us, from the time we are born we are told to go find our path in different manners, of course, all of the teachers, coaches, parents, wise men/women we all meet tell us in their own way create your own niche be yourself but somehow most us cannot follow this path and end up trying to fit in.

I love Jim Carey’s work and how he makes us laugh. But today he made me think.

And I am sure everyone who heard his speech, will think about their path and how to go about creating their life the way they want. I would love to end this summary with another quote from this very speech of Jim Carey:

“You will only ever have two choices: love or fear. Choose love, and don’t ever let fear turn you against your playful heart.”
