Welcome to my Typeshare Gallery
LinkedIn has 740 million users in more than 200 countries, but only 3 million are sharing weekly content (less than 1%).
So, LOTS of opportunities for writers + content marketers to grow their businesses.
What should you include in your profile to attract clients, what type of content rocks, and how do you become the go-to person for your topic?
My go-to is LinkedIn and Personal Branding expert: Viveka Von Rosen. Check out her free eBook: 101 Ways to Rock LinkedIn.

How to make the most of LinkedIn
#1 Killer Profile: LinkedIn lives and dies by profiles: It's your sales page. Address your audience's pain points and how your product/service solves them. What results can they expect to see? Who have you helped? Add content and contact info.
#2 Attention-Grabbing Bio: who do you help and how? Ben Legg, CEO of The Portfolio Collective is 'Improving society one entrepreneur at a time.'
#3 Content Strategy: post daily updates and weekly long-form content - mini-blog, opinion piece, tip, and use hashtags. How-to and list posts perform best. 50/50 native content vs links to your site. Consistency is key and Tuesday-Thursday is when the site is most active. Give back more than you take.
#4 Amplification Pods: create a messaging group with people so you can share each other's posts.
#5 Explore New Features: Creator mode, newsletters, LinkedIn Live, video.
#6 Ageism is Rife: take off the date you graduated and only show the last 20 years of work.
#7 Personalise Invitations and share something of value. Buy them a drink before you pitch! Build relationships to stay top of mind.
