Day 18: If You’re Interested In Learning Or Looking For Help Then You Might Want To Have These 2 Sites On Your List
Parveen Khan

In my early years of career when I was not aware of any community and totally unaware of wealth of resources that is available, it was hard to learn new skills or upskill existing skills.

But now things are very different. There are so many communities where you can learn so much, connect and network with people.

There are so many online events and resources available that can help in our learning journey.

Not just these resources but now there are so many mentoring platforms where you can find mentors in the areas that you looking help in, and you have access to all these mentors online — for free 😱.

There might be many more but these are 2 sites that I know of that I'd like to share:

📌 ADPList - https://app.adplist.org/

This platform has mentors from all different countries and all different area expertise like - Software Development, Product Management, Data Science, Design and Content Writing.

I am a mentor on this platform helping people who are looking for help in software testing topics. I have been enjoying different conversations so far who are not just testers, but have met product owners who were interested to learn different approaches they can use to help their QA in their team, UX designers who were looking for help around their design challenges during their current QA process.

It's so wonderful to see how different roles within the team trying to use these various platforms to get some help and different perspective so they can help their QA's and their teams.

📌 The Mentoring Club - https://www.mentoring-club.com/

This is another platform where I'm a mentor and I have been enjoying various conversations with different mentees from different countries.

They have mentors from different locations in different languages with area expertise - agile & lean, Data science, product management, project management, software engineering, Infrastructure & security, UX, design & User research and many more.

It's not that I'm helping others through these platforms and meetting new people but I'm learning from them too through their stories and challenges.

What platforms or resources do you enjoy learning from? Or Do you know any other mentoring platforms that you'd like to share so it help others?
