Day 17: Is gamifying the system morally equivalent to cheating? Bogus post.

Given it's 22:30 and I still have work left to do, I shall consider the internal-to-work strategy think piece that I wrote at work towards my writing quota for today (as part of my 30 day challenge).

Publicly wasting the time of any reader who reads this cheat entry of mine, and the potential public embarrassment I am subjecting myself to, will be penalty enough for me.

After a phone call with my father, who was curious about language models and probability distributions, I felt somewhat inspired. I did briefly consider an ELI5 piece on the difference between Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE) and Maximum A Posterior (MAP) methods of retrieving point estimates, but have now parked it for another day in this 30 day stint.
