When you no longer have to keep up a streak
sajeev emmanuel medikonda

I am struggling with the fact that the Ship30 cohort is over and I no longer need to post an essay everyday.

I no longer seem to have the same motivation when I sit down to write. However, the contract to the way things were in the past is the fact that I sit down to write almost at around the same time. Which is the reason you have this peice of writing in front of you.

So number 1 take way is the fact that you should establish the practice of ensuring you sit down to write.

Secondly, resist the urge to take a break from the habit of writing and publishing daily, especially as you have learnt to publish imperfect material.

So, while I have got these two right, the next thing I have to build a habit around is putting in place a practice for content creation and topic selection. There are proven ways to do this, but I need to figure how to do this well. I have seen a number of people work on Personal Knowledge Management tools, maybe that is the way forward for me.

What has ensured that you have kept writing when you longer had to?
