The One Question I Ask Myself To Help Make Hard Decisions

We make over 35,000 decisions every day.

The vast majority are easy. But a select few we agonize over for days on end. Sometimes paralyzed with indecision.

I'm no expert, but lately I've been asking myself one question to unlock clarity.

How would I feel if it was taken away?

And here's three common examples:

Moving to a new apartment? → How would you feel if someone else took it?

Changing jobs? → How would you feel if they rescinded the offer?

Scared of a new fitness class? → How will you feel if you skip it?

If the answer to any of these is "I wouldn't care", you might want to reconsider. But if the answer is "I'd be devastated", then it's time to make the leap!
