It seems we are headed for Economic Trouble

The trends don't lie.

It's already here, another recession. Depending who you listen to, we may only be seeing the beginning of our troubles. A lot of companies are starting to hurt.

It's easy to tell which companies are struggling the most - look at what they do with their employees.

A company's employees are their greatest asset 100% of the time. It doesn't matter how "spectacular" a product is, or how "amazing" a brand a company has created. Every single company that rises has amazing employees they rely on, and every company that struggles doesn't value their employees.

When major companies are laying off employees in masses, you know that leadership has failed

This could mean a few things:

• Leadership had too many people in the wrong places

• Leadership doesn't know their people's talents and so fire indiscriminately

• Often BOTH at the same time

This leads to many problems for companies:

• Loss of Talented Employees they didn't know they had

• Attempts to Rehire Employees whose roles they didn't understand

• Fear is created, leading to reduced productivity and innovation

Should this make you afraid? No - you should actually be excited!

When this happens with major organizations, Legendary Leaders get excited about what this means for them:

• Extremely talented employees are now available to be hired - employees looking for Legendary Leaders who recognize their value

• Competition is now struggling, leaving room for innovation to flush out these struggling organizations

• Recessions create new Categories and when the economy turns around, they gain greater resources faster which jettison new success!
