Technology is growing faster than it has ever grown before.

It is estimated that in the past 2 years alone, 90% of the world's data has been collected.

One of the technologies that have been talked about most recently is AI.

The reactions to AI have been very mixed.

Some people think it will bring in the next boom in creativity.

Others think that it will doom our work altogether.

Depending on what you believe it will do to your work is a good indicator of the type of work you are doing.

Are You Afraid AI Will Take Over Your Work?

If you are, I'm here to tell you that your current work isn't Legendary.

See, AI's abilities are still quite limited.

True, it is amazing what it has been able to accomplish.

However, currently, it is a simple program.

It takes a lot of data (possibly more than a human could comprehend) and does the best it can to accomplish the goals given with the data it possesses.

However, that is all it can really do.

Look through data, and regurgitate.

Some of those regurgitations are unique I will admit, but this only happens at the prompting of a creative human crafting the right types of goals for the AI.

If your work can be taken over by an AI, then your work is essentially a regurgitation of what already exists.

Legendary Work Has Nothing To Fear

For something to be truly Legendary, it requires something unique.

Ingenuity, Weird, Different, Exceptional, Special.

By itself, AI is incapable of these things, and the reason is simple.

These are created by going outside of what already exists.

AI has no ability to do this on its own.

If you are worried about AI, perhaps this should be a warning, and a lesson.

You are capable of significantly more than what you are doing.

You can start adjusting right now.

Create outside of what already exists.

Change, and start becoming Legendary.
