Founder and CTO of Macopedia - a 100% bootstrapped web agency. Writing about e-commerce, challenges of digital transformation, and software development.
What books do you recommend to become a better leader and CTO?
- Today I took a lesson from a bedtime story I read to my 5-year-old daughter: 🙂
👇
It's a classic of children's literature, written over 100 years ago.
A story about an 11-year-old orphan whose positive attitude and sincere sympathetic soul, influence the whole community of a small town.
She helps the most troubled inhabitants find the joy of life.
My favorite quote:
“When you look for the bad [in people], expecting it, you will get it. When you know you will find the good—you will get that....”
Eleanor H. Porter, Pollyanna
Assuming good intentions, trying to understand each other while
being honest and respectful is very powerful.
It builds trust and makes the relationships uncomplicated.
And in the hard times, it keeps the team together.
