When Should You Practice?
Valerie Jones-Harvey

I’m in the gym working out & my coach walks by and says breathe.

My response was I don’t need to breathe. It’s easy.

That response was flawed because I needed to practice when to breathe to maintain my form. If the only time that I try to breathe is when it’s hard, my form will be off because I’ll be thinking about it

In business how many times do we fail to prep or practice for minor calls?

If you don’t build the muscle when it’s easy, what makes you think you can do it when it’s hard? You have no experience and will be off.

Practice when it’s easy. Build solid habits early. So when it’s harder, you won’t have to worry about the fundamentals and can focus on the issue at hand.
