Do you want to get started working in Web Design?

I have been working in web design for 26 years now, since Netscape Navigator days. And what I can tell you (from experience) is that in order to work in this industry you need to understand three key things:

1. Most successful designers spend only 20% of time actually designing

2. Client management takes more emotional energy than technical skills

3. The designers who scale fastest are the ones who build systems, not just websites.

So, here's the 1 tip I would give you if you wanted to pursue a similar career path:

Become Obsessed With AI For 60 Days

Let it run wild. Your grocery lists. Your workout plan. Your kid's homework schedule.

Suddenly you'll see it.

Every task. Every process. Every system.

They're all just patterns.

And your web design business? Built on those exact same patterns.

I automated the patterns. Now I create for 3 hours a day.

Your creativity deserves that freedom.
