"I generated $7M in sales from a single email course. Now I'm helping others do the same."

Over the past 20 years, I've built multiple 7-figure businesses, raised $1.2M in venture capital, led international teams of 20+, and generated $12M in sales—mostly through email.

Then I disappeared.

Messy business exit.

Burnout.

Divorce.

The kind of unravelling that cracks you open and makes you rebuild from bones.

I gave up my beloved Stefano Lubiano.

Moved 1,657km from everyone I know.

And now I live (and work) solo in a jumbo-sized rainforest in the Whitsundays, big enough to host 2.68 million games of simultaneous hopscotch.

It was wild!

These days, I measure success in butterfly sightings. (And how many eggs I can snatch before the goanna gets to them.)

In the silence of the jungle, after my nervous system finally exhaled, I asked:

- What actually worked?
- What was worth keeping?

And the answer surprised me.

Of all the campaigns, launches, funnels, blog posts, sideways sales letters and paid ads…

>>> ONE asset outperformed EVERYTHING. <<<

A simple Educational Email Course I wrote back in 2012.

No complex funnel.

No expensive ads.

Just a clear, evergreen course, delivered consistently, in people's inboxes.

It quietly converted over $7M in sales.

And that's exactly what I'm building now as part of my new business, Out of Office Forever. (A quiet nod to the 3-hour workday I'm designing—and yes, preaching a little.)

For busy course creators, coaches and consultants who want more sales without constant selling.

For leaders tired of launching, chasing, posting, grinding, and showing up 24/7.

Not another funnel.

A trust-building email system that teaches, nurtures, and converts — quietly, consistently, even when you're off racing a goanna for breakfast.

If you've got a solid offer, an audience, and a list that deserves better, I've got 3 Founding Seats open at 50% off the regular price.

DM me “EEC” and I’ll show you how your list could become your highest-converting asset.

No pressure, just an asset that might change everything (like it did for me).

More trust. More sales. No sleaze.

The 3-Step AI Framework That Will Save Your Agency From Digital Death
Your Liberation Architect

Building an AI-first agency isn’t for everyone.

Most people don’t have the guts to let go of control.

I’ve been diving into this world for months now, and along the way, I’ve consumed way too much content:

  • A podcast that told me to “start small” (snore).

  • A book that romanticised the hustle I’m actively avoiding.

  • A founder who said, “Just hire more people” (as if humans are the solution).

If I had to start over, this is the no-BS framework I’d follow to learn how to build an AI-first agency:

Step 1: Destroy your ego.

AI will do most things better than you. Let it. Your perfectionism isn’t a personality trait—it’s a roadblock.

Step 2: Fire yourself daily.

Every time you do a task, ask, “How can I never do this again?” Then automate the hell out of it.

Step 3: Build for laziness.

If you’re not designing a business that runs while you race your dog along a deserted beach, what’s the point?

When you're first starting out, this is all that matters. The rest is noise.

The FRISKY Method: Your Blueprint to a 3-Hour Workday
From the Freedom Revolution

Most people think working less means earning less. Not true.

The secret?

AI doesn’t just automate tasks; it redesigns how you think about work.

Here’s how the FRISKY Method frees you from busywork:

1️⃣ Freedom: Start with clarity. What’s eating your time? Map tasks and find what AI can handle (more than you think).

2️⃣ Replace: Automate the biggest bottleneck first—usually marketing or sales—with your first Digital Employee.

3️⃣ Integrate: Plug AI into onboarding, client communication and delivery for a business that runs itself 80% of the time.

4️⃣ Simplify: Cut the fluff. Offer less, charge more and watch clients thank you for it.

5️⃣ Scale: Use your free time to create premium offers or recurring income— and laugh at how easy it feels.

6️⃣ Yield: Take back your life. Your mornings, your creativity and the joy of saying, "Can’t talk—planting my dahlia garden before the afternoon rains roll in."

AI isn’t here to steal your job.

It’s here to make you gloriously unavailable while enabling you to deliver premium results at a fraction of the effort.

The Template Trap: Why Your Growing Library Of Design Tools Is Actually Keeping You Stuck In 60-Hour Weeks, Eating Cold Pizza At Midnight, And Manually Managing 'Automated' Systems
Your AI Freedom Guide

Not all AI tools are created equal.

Most web designers are stuck in the 'optimisation trap.' They collect endless Figma templates. They hoard automation scripts. They cobble together basic ChatGPT prompts.

But here's the dangerous myth: More tools ≠ more freedom.

In fact, managing these disconnected solutions creates more work, not less. Hours spent organising templates. Hours updating scripts. Hours manually moving between tools.

Systems eliminate work. Tools just speed it up.

Instead of just automating content writing, I designed my first Digital Employee to handle the entire lead generation process - from initial contact to qualification to booking calls.

The difference?

  • Tools need managing

  • Systems run solo

  • Tools drain time

  • Systems give freedom

The 3-Hour Workday isn't about having better tools.

It's about building systems that work while you build your pottery studio by the beach.

Stop optimising busy work. Start designing freedom.

1 Big Mistake I Made Building a $9M Web Business

Like most beginners in web software, I made a lot of stupid expensive mistakes.

But this was the biggest one, by far:

I Broke a Million-Dollar Product

Here's what happened:

My first 1,000 websites came from two simple packages - basic or ecommerce. Flat pricing. Unlimited support. A single funnel starting with our Website Starter Kit. It was perfect. Then I started adding more products, more features, more services. Because that's what growth looks like, right?.

This mistake taught me something fundamental about business: Simplicity scales. Complexity kills.

That original constraint - just two clear packages - wasn't limiting our growth. It was fuelling it.

Now I tell every founder: Your best offer is probably the simplest one.

And sometimes the hardest part of scaling is protecting what works from your own "improvements." (The irony of learning this lesson three times is not lost on me.)

1 Tip I Would Give Someone Who Wanted To Get Started Working In Web Design (And Work 70% Less Than Other Designers)
Bianca Board

Do you want to get started working in Web Design?

I have been working in web design for 26 years now, since Netscape Navigator days. And what I can tell you (from experience) is that in order to work in this industry you need to understand three key things:

  1. Most successful designers spend only 20% of time actually designing

  2. Client management takes more emotional energy than technical skills

  3. The designers who scale fastest are the ones who build systems, not just websites.

So, here's the 1 tip I would give you if you wanted to pursue a similar career path:

Become Obsessed With AI For 60 Days

Let it run wild. Your grocery lists. Your workout plan. Your kid's homework schedule.

Suddenly you'll see it.

Every task. Every process. Every system.

They're all just patterns.

And your web design business? Built on those exact same patterns.

I automated the patterns. Now I create for 3 hours a day.

Your creativity deserves that freedom.

The 1 'Toxic' Habit All 7-Figure Creative Agency Owners Have In Common: Radical Unavailability
by Bianca Board

Most successful people share the same handful of things in common:

  • Unwavering focus on their vision

  • Strong systems and processes

  • High-value skill mastery

  • Premium pricing confidence

But in the creative agency world, I've noticed that the most profitable owners have mastered one counter-intuitive habit that the rise-and-grind brigade would call 'toxic':

They're radically unavailable.

Here's why this "toxic" habit is actually their secret weapon:

When you're always available, you're telling the world your time isn't valuable. Top agency owners break this pattern entirely. They're not instantly responding to every message, jumping on last-minute calls, or handling routine WordPress updates.

They protect their creative genius by being strategically, intentionally and profitably unavailable.

The People Who Have Influenced Me In The 3-Hour Workday
by Bianca Board

I've been interested in The 3-Hour Workday for a while now.

But I owe a lot of the progress I've made to these people:

Nikola Tesla

Demonstrated that 3-4 hours of intense focus could yield more breakthroughs than endless tinkering.

Ernest Hemingway

Wrote exclusively from sunrise until noon, producing timeless work in focused morning sprints.

Cal Newport

Proved that elite performance comes from deep work in short blocks, not marathon sessions.

These people have taught me so much—and, just like they did with me, I hope to pass along my own learnings to the next person. Productivity porn is dead, baby.

The Best Advice I Ever Got About Agency Freedom
by Bianca Board

When I was 40, I dropped my last piece of sourdough vegemite toast on the floor. It ricocheted off my ragdoll, Muffin, and landed face down. :(

I stared at that upside-down piece of toast and well... broke. Sobbed for three hours straight curled up a foetal position on the floor.

My "successful" 22-person agency was killing me.

I had the revenue, the team, the big name clients... but that piece of toast was the final straw.

Soon after, life took a sledgehammer to my house of cards that changed everything. I found myself starting over with nothing but hard-won wisdom and a piece of rainforest.

After all that rebuilding, I finally understood:

Running a business doesn't have to be so hard.

Today, I'm building something different: an AI-first agency born from battle scars and real-world lessons.

I've accepted that sometimes life forces you to rebuild from scratch. And that's when you build better.

My biggest lesson wasn't about systems or scaling. It was this:

Your business should serve your life, not consume it.

Now I'm obsessed with one question: What if AI could handle 80% of agency operations, letting humans actually be human?

(It can. And I've got the battle scars to prove it.)

Sometimes the best business advice isn't about optimisation.

It's about liberation.

The KDD Framework: How I Cut My Workload by 60% Before Touching AI
by Bianca Board

A framework that transformed my entire approach to business is the Keep, Delegate, Delete (KDD) System - because sometimes you need to burn your to-do list before you can build your freedom.

My first mentor handed me this framework in my 20s after a burnout #1 landed me in hospital for a week.

Looking back, it was simple but revolutionary:

Most entrepreneurs are stuck trying to optimise their overwhelm instead of eliminating it.

Here's my step-by-step guide to implementing KDD:

Step 1: Total task capture

  • List EVERYTHING you do for 30 days. Every email, every client call, even that 45-minute "competitive research" spiral where you ended up learning how to pickle watermelon rinds on a homesteader's YouTube channel at 3 AM. (Don't pretend you don't know exactly what I'm talking about.)

Step 2: Categorise label each task:

  • Keep (only you can do it)

  • Delegate (someone else or AI could be doing it)

  • Delete (shouldn't be done at all)

Step 3: Ruthless elimination

  • Delete everything that doesn't directly serve your core business or feel good. Those "nice to have" tasks? Gone.

Step 4: Delegation list

  • Turn your "Delegate" items into clear SOPs. These become your first automation targets.

Step 5: For Your keep criteria, only "Keep" tasks that:

  • Require your unique expertise

  • Directly generate revenue

  • Shape company vision

  • Bring you a ton of JOY (like strolling through nature wondering: Why do I love banana bread but hate bananas?)

Using this framework, I eliminated 30% of my tasks completely before thinking about automation. Another 30% became delegation candidates.

Now I focus solely on work that matters.

How I Got Interested In The 3-Hour Workday

I wouldn't call myself an expert in working less.

However, I've spent the last 5 years obsessing over AI automation. And I've logged thousands of hours testing AI tools in my own agency.

How I first got interested in the 3-hour workday:

I started pioneering AI automation because I had to.

I was burnt out and drowning in client work, running a marketing agency for 3,000+ SMEs. In 2019, my chatbot "SunnyBot" generated $6.3M in solar leads in 8 days, which led to ManyChat's Global B2B award.

That's when I knew AI wasn't just the future—it was the key to everything.

So my goal over the next year is:

To level up my AI automation and build out my dev team.

I plan to create a squad of AI Agents to handle everything from client acquisition to content creation. Why? Because I'm lazy. And because I want to show other agency owners they can work less, live more and rock their own 3-hour workday.

Because what's the point of automation if you can't spend more time doing what you love? (Like nailing your seven millionth attempt at San Francisco Sourdough. Booyeast!)

The Best Way To Get Started Cloning Yourself with a CustomGPT
by Bianca Board

I'm obsessed with using AI to make life easier—especially when I need to keep a lid on my 3-hour workday.

Unfortunately, when I first got interested in creating CustomGPTs, I had a hard time figuring out where to start because I'm allergic to code.

So, if you are trying to learn more about CustomGPTs, here's the best (no-code) way to get started:

These 3 resources will exponentially accelerate your learning process.

3 Topics I'm Exploring in My Jungle Life Right Now

3 Topics I'm Exploring in My Jungle Life Right Now
by Bianca Board

When ChatGPT launched, I was obsessed. I threw it at everything—work, writing Jack Sparrow poems, what Myers-Briggs type Jesus would be (INFJ, obviously). Now I’m using it to work less and live more.

Here are 3 topics I can’t stop thinking about:

Topic #1: Cracking the 3-Hour Workday

AI has shown me something surprising: instead of optimising the chaos, I can eliminate it. I’m doing in 3 hours what used to take 12—and rethinking how much of the grind I ever really needed.

I’m still figuring it out, but I’m excited to help other agency owners escape the hamster hell too.

Topic #2: AI as a Freedom Engine

Burnout pushed me into AI, and it’s been a game-changer. I’ve built systems to automate the boring stuff, free up time and give myself room to breathe.

But unlearning the urge to always “do more” is harder than it looks.

Topic #3: Redefining Success in the Jungle

Moving to a rainforest didn’t magically cure my workaholic tendencies. But it gave me space to rethink what success even is. Now I’m drowning in bananas instead of deadlines. (Seriously, send recipes.)

If you're feeling the pull toward a different kind of life, let's connect.

3 Reasons I'm Writing Online (Again)
by Bianca Board

I recently signed up for Ship 30 for 30 with Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole, despite being a recovering content machine.

Here's why I'm diving back in:

  1. To Document My Escape. After 4 companies, 3 burnouts, and 1 rather dramatic kidney punch where I lost everything, I did the only logical thing: packed up my life and moved to a tropical tangle big enough to host 2.8 million simultaneous games of hopscotch. I was trapped in the "successful but suffering" loop. Now I run my agency from the rainforest, measuring success in butterfly sightings and morning egg races with an asshole goanna. Not your typical "I quit my job" story, but then again, midnight Slack notifications and 2 AM panic attacks aren't exactly living the dream either.

  2. To Share The Weird Stuff That Works. While we're all out there "crushing it" with 60-hour weeks and endless Chrome tabs, I accidentally stumbled onto something: AI can handle most of our busywork better than our perfectionist brains ever could. The experiments I'm cooking up in my makeshift jungle lab are too bizarre not to share. Because honestly, why build an empire when you can build a life?

  3. To Find My People. This isn't about productivity hacks or another "work smarter" manifesto. It's about finding others who think maybe, just maybe, we've all gone a bit troppo with the hustle culture. Plus, my closest friend is currently a coconut named Wilson, so I clearly need to expand my circle.

Over the next 30 days, I'll be sharing my journey from workaholic to whatever-this-is, the AI systems that keep my business running while I'm off stroking my tomatoes, and the reality of building a 3-hour workday.

Join me? I promise there will be chaos.

This Is The Best Book I've Ever Read On Working Less
Bianca Board

There are a lot of books about escaping the 60-hour workweek.

And I've read most of them.

But the best book on building a 3-hour workday I've found is "Work the System" by Sam Carpenter.

For a few reasons:

  • Reason #1: "Your life is a collection of systems you control." After reading this 6 years ago, I systemised my business and exited my agency. Now, with AI, I’ve achieved complete life-work harmony.

  • Reason #2: "First you work your systems, then your systems do the work." AI is my perfect system worker.

  • Reason #3: "98% accuracy is perfect" freed me from perfectionism.

  • Reason #4: "Document, fix, automate." It’s not just a process—it’s liberation. AI takes what used to drain my energy and transforms it into frictionless systems.

  • Reason #5: "I went from 80-hour weeks to near zero, multiplying my net income by 100." What took Sam years, AI makes possible in weeks.

If you're done with digital agency overwhelm, grab this book yesterday.

(And if you've read it, do you agree? What other book would you recommend for beginners?)
