I committed to adopting a practice of reflection at the beginning of 2022.

Why?  

Because research shows that reflection helps:

•organize our thoughts

•make sense of things going on in our lives

•lock in lessons learned

Here are my 4 key lessons:

1. How I reflect is not important—just that I do it

2. My reflections are meant for me and nobody else

3. It doesn’t matter if I review my thoughts; the value is in the process

4. Prompts help—that blank page is scary!

My biggest takeaway:  just get started and do it.

It doesn’t need to look or sound good.

I just need to do it.
