I'm a Mac guy. Have been for decades. There's one single app I use every day that every other Mac user should download and install today.
JumpCut is a clipboard manager. It does the simple but miraculous task of remembering what you've copied and permits you to paste from that memory.
It's hard to describe exactly why it feels so helpful. JumpCut reduces the window switching you need to do.
Do you need to copy a half-dozen email addresses from different emails and paste them into a single document? Instead of switching between your mail program and your Google Doc, copying one, pasting one and repeating 5 times. You can simply copy each email switch to the doc and paste.
Need to copy the address from one part of a web page and the phone number from another and paste them in an email. Copy, copy, paste, paste.
Keyboard shortcuts make managing your copy paste workspace a dream.
Download it from here: https://snark.github.io/jumpcut/
Try it, you'll be glad you did.
