Typeshare vs Vista Social: Which Is Right for You?
Vista Social is a command center for social teams: publishing, inbox, analytics, listening and replies to reviews on Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor, for 15 to 70 profiles, from $99 a month. Its assistant, Ask Vista, drafts posts and runs recurring jobs, and checks with you before it publishes. Typeshare is much smaller on purpose. It doesn’t do reviews, listening or advocacy; it takes what you write and publishes it to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack, with agents that draft from your own past writing.
Which one should you pick?
Pick Typeshare if
- You’re one person publishing your own ideas, not running social for a brand.
- You write a Substack newsletter or Notes and want them in the same place as your posts.
- You want X included in the price, not as an add-on.
- You want agents that write from everything you’ve already written, so every post carries your own thinking.
Pick Vista Social if
- You manage social for a business, an agency or many locations, with 15 or more profiles.
- You need to answer reviews on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor or Trustpilot from the same tool.
- You want a shared inbox, listening, DM automations or an employee advocacy program.
- You post to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube or Pinterest.

Why Typeshare
You do the writing. The robots do the rest.
AI that writes your posts writes what anyone could have said: commodity content that sounds like everyone else. Writing it yourself is how you sharpen your thinking and say what only you can, and that is what grows an audience. So on Typeshare you write, and the agents do everything after: rework it for each platform, make the visuals, schedule and publish.

- How much does Vista Social cost?
- Vista Social’s plans are $99, $199 and $449 a month for 15, 30 and 70 profiles, with 20% off billed yearly, and X costs $29 a month on top. Typeshare is $19 a month (Basic) or $49 with AI agents (All-Access), with X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Substack included.
- Does Vista Social post to Substack?
- No. Substack isn’t among the 13 networks Vista Social lists. Typeshare publishes Substack Notes and full newsletters, and can send the same piece to X as an X Article.
- Is Vista Social overkill for a solo creator?
- Usually. Its cheapest plan is $99 a month for 15 profiles and 2 users, and much of what it charges for is team work: review replies, a shared inbox, listening and employee advocacy. Typeshare is built for one person writing under their own name.
